Maybelline Baby Lips - Beauty Bargain of the Week
We can all spend a fortune on beauty products, but we don’t need to. Every week, I’m going to bring you my ‘Beauty Bargain of the Week‘ – a product I’ve used, and would recommend, and that, on most occasions, costs less than a fiver! What’s not to like!
It’s a lot of fuss about a lip Balm, but apparently Maybelline’s Baby Lips Lip Balm are worth the wait. And what perfect timing, with a certain Royal Baby arriving yesterday (on my birthday, might I add!)
A cult product amongst beauty fans and beauty editors, the fuss reminds me of Maybelline’s cult Great Lash mascara which I purchased in the USA in 1987 when I was 16 years old, before it arrived in the UK in the 1990s. I had to have it, and it seems it’s the same with these lip balms. I have one on the way, so I will let you know when it arrives if it lives up to the hype!
They have a blend of shea butter, vitamins, centella (to plump the lips) and some of them contain SPF20. There are six flavours – Hydrate, Mint Fresh, Intense Care, Pink Punch, Cherry Me and Peach Kiss, and three tints – clear, pink, red and nude.
