Clarins Be Long Mascara

Every week there seems to be a new mascara to try! This week’s mascara is Clarins Be Long Mascara. I’ve been using it for about a month now, and it’s great. Yes, yes, it’s another mascara, and another good one – but  there are a couple of things about this mascara I have been impressed with.

Firstly, no smudging! I can honestly say that even in the hottest of weather we had of late, this mascara really didn’t smudge too much at all. Smudging is the biggest problem with mascara, don’t you agree? Under eye smudging, and those marks you get on your eyelids – very irritating. But this has been fantastic in that department.

So, what’s so new and exciting about this mascara, I hear you cry! Well, it is something called the ‘Be Long Lash’ Complex – innovative beauty science which combines two active ingredients – Matrikine – a peptide which enhances lash growth each day, and Panthenol, which helps strengthen lashes.

These are combined with highly concentrated pigment carnauba wax, and filmogenic polymers which work with the keratin found in lashes. So, this mascara is not only lengthening your lashes, but is treating them every day as well – and I have to say I have noticed a difference in mine – they seem longer, and healthier. The length the mascara gives is pretty impressive.

This is in part thanks to a new exclusively designed, tilted brush, which really does ensure only one applications is needed for great length – but I have to say I do tend to apply twice! The brush features a seven-degree incline, which allows the wand to apply to the lashes easily – and it is very , very easy to use. Here’s a snap of my lashes with this fab new mascara on.
