Jo Malone Saffron Cologne Intense
The newest fragrance from Jo Malone London is launched next month, and it is VERY different. When I first smelled the new Saffron Intense Cologne a few months ago, I was blown away by it.
Saffron is such an unusual smell – and will not be one that is universally loved, I am sure. But this cologne is really worth smelling, even if you don’t end up buying it!
The heart of the perfume is, of course, Golden Saffron, the top not is a heady incense, the base Blond Wood. It’s spiced with pink pepper, and is so unusual I can’t stop smelling it! Jo Malone encourages fragrance combining – this is great with Oud & Bergamot for a warm, sensual woody scent, or Blackberry & Bay to create more vibrancy and spice.
It comes in a gorgeous dark bottle, and is, I’d say, perfect for both men and women. Maybe a fantastic Father’s Day gift?
It’s certainly miles away from the usual floral Jo Malone fragrances, definitely worth a sniff!
