Stila's Summer Festival of Colour Collection
One thing attracted me to this Stila Festival of Colour Collection, and it wasn’t the bright, bold colour. It was the After Glow Lip Colour (£12). I have yet to try them out, but, Stila promise that, thanks to black-light responsive florescent pigments, these lippies will, literally, glow in the dark! How fab is that?! The pigments are three times brighter than conventional colours ensuring vibrancy under the sun, and a glo-stick effect under UV light. There are six shades to choose from, with names like Rave Red and Party Pink.
The rest of the collection is as bright – and how cute are the ‘tie-dye’ Countless Color Pigments (£14)? Created by a proprietary handmade pressing and baking process, this innovative formula allows for endless looks, as each collage of color is kind of like a one-of-a-kind piece of art. For the most intense colour, use fingers or a foam-tip applicator to apply the shades individually, side by side, or mixed together for a multi-shade, streaked finish. The names are, of course, festival themed – Encore, Melody, Light Show, Lyric, and, er, Groupie.
You can continue to release your inner artist, with the All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner (£13) and the Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner (£13) in new limited-edition shade, Turquoise.
