Clarins Summer Collection

I love Clarins’ new summer collection. It’s so beautiful, and has really clever lip balms which add great colour and hydration., their Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Balms, which, in this new Splendour collection, come in four shades – Crystal Rose, Crystal Gold Plum, Crystal Mandarin and Crystal Berry, at £18 each.

But the hero product of the collection, is the Limited Edition Summer Bronzing Compact (£30) which is stunning. Embossed with a South American inspired motif, this beautiful palette is a blend of softening brow and terracotta to warm your complexion. The powder gives skin an instant sun-kissed touch, whilst the Light-Optimizing+ Complex visibly enhances and smoothes the skin. It is also lightly fragranced, smells just like summer!

There is as ever, a Limited Edition Colour Quartet & Eye Liner Palette (£31), which has four shades in it – three shadows, in copper, pale gold and pink gold, and one eyeliner which is deep plum and brown. Perfect for summer evenings. The case is stamped with the collection’s themed motif.

But my favourite part of this collection has to be the two Limited Edition Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Gels (£16 each). In Crystal Pink and Crystal Plum, these gorgeous lip gels have a totally translucent non-sticky texture which colours the lips with a transparent finish. They’re so more-ish to use, and leave a beautiful dewy shine.
