Bobbi Brown's new Longwear Even Finish Compact Foundation

Bobbi Brown have just launched a new Long-Wear Even Finish Compact Foundation. These ‘quick-fix’ foundations are becoming more and more popular again, I’ve noticed, with women wanting something they can easily apply, wherever they are.

This new foundation is, as Bobbi says, ‘designed to disappear’ – what she means is, it’s perfectly matched to skin tone and texture, will never look fake or cakey, just smooth and natural.

I’ve had a play with it, and it is a lovely product – simple, effective, and oil-free. It contains two silica powders for absorption and soft coverage, and features, interestingly, the same advanced film former technology as Bobbi Brown’s Long Wear Gel Eyeliner, which is an award-winning product. Big things for this new product in its future, perhaps?

It comes in a good range of 18 shades, and can be applied with the dry sponge included in the compact. Oh, and Katie Holmes is the face of this product. She’s Bobbi Brown’s first ever celeb face, in case you hadn’t noticed, and we have to say, she’s a pretty perfect fit for the company, wouldn’t you agree?
