Control that Curl with Aveda

I have curly hair. It was the bane of my life for so long. Then I found ghd’s. I subsequently had very ,very straight hair for a long time. These days, I like to embrace my curl – well, more of the wave, and these two new additions to the Aveda Be Curly range are just perfect for that.

Be Curly Curl Contoller (£19) has a liquid formula, containing organic babassu oil, which smoothes and elongates tight curls. At the same time, it fights frizz, and conditions the hair. It’s really easy to use – apply it before blow drying and styling to soften your curl into a more manageable wave. The effect is great.

Then, you can set it all with the new Be Curly Curl Enhancing Hair Spray (£17.50) which reduces frizz, defends against humidity and defines curls all day long. I’ll be taking this one abroad with me – not much chance of humidity issues in this weather are there?! It’s not cheap, again, but this is targeted, organic haircare, and the effects are excellent.
