Beauty Bargain of the Week - Nailene bits and bobs!

2 min read

We can all spend a fortune on beauty products, but we don’t need to. Every week, I’m going to bring you my ‘Beauty Bargain of the Week‘  – a product I’ve used, and would recommend, and that, on most occasions, costs less than a fiver! What’s not to like!

I came across a couple of good bargains this week, from Nailene. I’m not a big fan of the French manicure – just not my thing, but I was impressed with the Nailene Skinny French Tip pen. Great if you love French manicures, but also good for nail art – so easy to use. It also comes with a little pot of UV Top Coat, and it’s just £5.12.

Th eother Nailene item I like this week is the Nailene Ultra Adhesive Tabs (£2.49). They’re for sticking on false nails – I’ve been out with a few friends recently who have seen their false nails ping off! They’re easier to carry around in your purse than glue, and mean you can replace your pinger before anyone notices!

I also thought they might be good for an impromptu nail glitter look – and they are! Just stick one on your painted nail, and then shake glitter over it – any glitter – and top coat it, and you have brilliant glitter pattern nails, which peel off easily as well – none of the usual half an hour with the nail polish that normal glitter brings! The stickers don’t cover the whole nail, but if you position them right, you get a glitter look with a coloured border!
