MAC and the Year of the Snake
It’s the Chinese Year of the Snake in 2013, and MAC have celebrated with a stunning collection, entitled ‘Year of the Snake‘. The packaging is lovely, and the embossed products are far too beautiful to use!
The colours in the collection are also really beautiful – vibrant shades and shimmering finishes. The Pigment in shade Brash & Bold, a bright magenta, is amazing. The deep purple and shimmery gold/beige Large Eye Shadows are very wearable, easy to use with striking contrasts in the shades.
My favourite piece has to be the Lipsticks, with snakes cut into them – stunning! There are three lovely shades, a neutral peach called Freckletone, a rose-plum called Plumful, and a lovely sherry yellow red with pearl called Cockney. But who would want to use them?!
The collection is available from late January, prices from £14 to £22, and only in store at Harrods and Selfridges, but will be available online at maccosmetics.co.uk – be quick though, it’s Limited and bound to sell out pretty quickly!
