Brightening with Bobbi Brown

Who doesn’t need brightening up in January?! That’s what I have been doing  – to my skin – with this lovely new range from Bobbi Brown. The Extra Bright Skincare range of three products promises to rejuvenate and brighten your skin, combining effective moisturisation with the unique brightening benefits of Bobbi’s exclusive SuperCitrus Complex.

The three innovative products – Extra Bright Advanced Foaming Cleanser (£24), Extra Bright Advanced Moisture Lotion (£36) and Extra Bright Advanced Serum (£60), work in tandem to help the appearance of skin-dulling dark spots, discolourations and unevenness.

I have a few bits of hyper-pigmentation on my skin, and have enjoyed the results these products have given me – I’ve used the Moisture Lotion and the Serum, but I think with my dry skin, the cleanser isn’t ideal, and I am not a fan of foaming cleansers.

I love the bright, white, clean packaging, don’t you? Bobbi Brown’s Extra range is excellent, and another product from it I have been loving of late is the Extra Soothing Balm (£40) – so brilliant on dry patches on my elbows, and as a lip balm, or a topical moisturiser. And, it can give your cheeks a gorgeous dewy glow, patted lightly over makeup. Contains loads of natural oils, smells heavenly and is so multi-functional. I love this product already!

And finally, to help enhance your lovely new radiant skin, a new Brightening Finishing Powder in Porcelain Pearl (£40) – as well as looking very pastel-pretty, this all-over powder instantly illuminates and gives skin a healthy-looking glow. It’s infused with a skin-brightening blend of Mulberry, Grape and Scutellaria extracts.
