Happy in Bloom - can you smell Springtime!?
This week between Christmas and New Year can be an odd one – if you’re back at work there’s usually not much to do, if you’re off, it’s hard to get motivated to do anything. I’d suggest spending a bit of time thinking of Spring – guaranteed to put a smile on anyone’s face!
I’ve been getting into the spring mood with a sniff of Clinique’s lovely Happy in Bloom Limited Edition fragrance which comes out at the end of January. Maybe you got the wrong fragrance coffret for Christmas, or are just looking for an alternative to this year’s glut of ‘noir’ fragrances.
Well, here it is. Happy in Bloom is a fresh, frosty floral which opens with notes of yellow plum, a cocktail of frozen fruit and watery green notes. it has lily of the valley, white freesia and a mimosa accord from the original Happy at its heart, and a base of transparent amber and white wood. It’s a lovely, early Spring, fresh fragrance.
The bottle is lovely, with a new bright floral pattern – complete with cute ladybirds – complimenting the fresh colour trends we’re going to see this coming Spring! I can’t wait!
