Make Mine A Moisture Surge

1 min read

Cold weather, coupled with drying central heating, and dehydrating alcohol, and my skin gets in a right old state of disrepair at this time of year.

So, come January, the only ‘drink’ I’ll be wanting is one in the shape of Clinique’s new  Moisture Surge Overnight Mask.

This mask works overnight to restore hydration to the skin with moisture-locking hyaluronic acid, and a cocktail of nourishing and soothing ingredients, including algae extracts, shea butter, mango butter and murumuru seed butter.

I have been lucky enough to receive a tube of this lovely new product for testing, before it hits counters in January next year.

It feels lovely on the skin, and is applied as the last part of your evening skincare routine. Massage it in and it works its magic overnight. My skin soaked it up and in the morning it felt amazing – no waking up with a tight, dry face which can happen in winter if your skin is prone to dryness.

I also noticed that it worked really well on eliminating the dry skin patches I am prone to at this time of year.
