I love this Glam Rocks Christmas party look from Rimmel and it only takes a few products to achieve., and you too can look like the beautiful Georgia May Jagger! I wish! And she is half my ages as well!

It is a great look to go for for a Christmas party, and it won’t break the bank, buying all the bits, BUT…there are a few changes I would make!

Rimmel London MakeUp Artist Kirstin Piggott talks us through the look – and I’ve added my own comments in too!

First, apply Match Perfect Foundation (£6.99); it blends beautifully into the skin mimicking its texture and tone, giving you a flawless natural radiant glow.

My view: This foundation is really lovely for the price – goes on easily and does give a gorgeous, flawless base.

Line the top lash line and the outer corner of the bottom lash line using Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Liner in 001 Black (£3.99). It glides beautifully on the skin giving you a flawless and precise line with amazing staying power. Then, to highlight and open the eyes apply the same liner in 001 Silver to the top and bottom inner corner of the eye, blending it back in towards the centre of the eye, ten lightly apply it to the brow bone to give a subtle highlight.

My view: Okay, for me, the silver eyeliner works brilliantly – it’s really blendable, and looks great in the corner and on brow bone, but the black – it smudged everywhere! Maybe it’s just me and kohl, but I don’t have a great relationship with it, so I would use a liquid liner on the top and the kohl on the bottom in future.

For fabulous show stopping lashes, curl the lashes and apply Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara (£6.99) for maximum volume, lift, and clump free lashes. it’s unique ball brush enables you to get perfect lashes every time.

My view: This is an odd mascara – it has a very dry formula, almost too dry. You do have to apply a few layers to get anywhere, but then, well, wow, what a difference! And it didn’t smudge!

To complete your look and to get Georgia’s striking pout, apply 1000 Kisses Liptint  in 130 (£5.99). It’s rich in colour. Finish the shade off by lightly adding a dab of the lip balm to the centre of the lip to give a beautiful soft sheen.

My view: I was impressed with this product – lots of colour from the tint, and the balm jsut added a little shine. Lovely!

And so to the nails. Rimmel London Nail Expert, Adam Slee says: “Precious Stones Nail Polish in Diamond DustDust (£3.99) is a great product which combines glitter with a tint. One coat can be applied for a more subtle look, two to three coats leave a glitter and tint build-up. for a really strong party look, apply this over a nail colour of your choice.”

My view: I have never been so disappointed in a product I wanted to love! This is an amazing colour and texture, kind of gritty, and I applied a top coat. But…when I looked at my nails halfway through the night, I had lost two entire nails of polish! Not just little chips, but completely gone as if it was never there! Too weird!

Anyway, here’s me, rocking the Glam Rocks look! I kind of like it. What do you think?
