Eucerin's latest range for problem skin

We all love a pretty pot, or a gorgeous flowery smell, but sometimes we just need a beauty range that does what it says it will and that’s where Eucerin comes in. I love Eucerin. I use their Hyaluron Filler Night Cream religiously, and their foot cream, hand cream and body lotions for dry skin are excellent.

The latest range from their labs is the DermoPurifyer range for acne prone skin. Acne is not just a teenager problem. More than 40% of adults are affected by some sort of acne. This range combines dermatological expertise with cosmetic skincare knowledge to help fight the key contributing factors of blemished skin, which include excess sebum production, proliferation of bacteria and inflammation.

There are seven products in this range, all of which combine active ingredients to help ease the varying symptoms of acne prone skin. Lactic acid helps promote an improved flow of sebum, L-carnitine, an amino acid found in the skin, regulates the production of sebum, Decandiol helps reduce the production rate of acne bacterium, and Licorice Extract, a plant-derived ingredient, helps to soothe the skin.

The products are Active Concentrate, a serum for use under moisturiser, to clarify the complexion, Hydrating Care , a non-greasy day moisturiser to refine pores and reduce shine with mattifying particles, Active Night Care, provides supply of lactic acid during the night for skin’s own regeneration, Cover Stick, effectively covers imperfections and calms skin irritation, Scrub, enriched with fine micro-particles and lactic acid beads to help unclog pores and reduce the appearance of blemishes, Cleanser, which is soap free and created to match the pH level of the skin, and Toner, with 2% lactic acid, removing excess sebum without drying the skin.

The range retails from £9.18, to £9.50, and is available at Boots now
