Set it!

I had a college friend once who used to get in the shower AFTER she’d applied her makeup. She said the steam from the shower set her makeup. It was always immaculate.

We were at beauty school together, but this wasn’t something we were taught there!

And we’ve all seen the girls on Snog, Marry, Avoid who set their makeup with hairspray haven’t we?!

I’ve never tried ether of these ‘techniques’  myself, but I have been giving New CID Cosmetics i-set Make up Setting Spray a go.

When the weather heats up, this is perfet for setting your makeup. Good for a night out, or on your wedding day as well. You just spray it in a t-shape once you’ve applied your makeup and it dries in less than a minute.

It does feel a bit odd at first, but it’s not sticky, not drying, and not wet. Just make sure you hold it at arms length and don’t spritz too much.

Now let’s just hope we get more hot summer weather to try it in!
