Plantscription - the new products
If you know me, or you read this blog, or my own blog, Beauty Bombshells, regularly, then you will know I am a HUGE fan of Origins Plantscription Anti-Aging Serum. I was really excited when they added an Eye Treatment to the range the other year, so you can imagine my state of apoplexy when they announced they were adding another FIVE products this month!
So now, not only do you have the brilliant anti-ageing serum containing the Anogeissus tree bark, you have a whole range of products, from cleansing all the way through to makeup.
The Plantsciption Anti-aging Concealer (£16) and SPF15 Anti-Aging Foundation (£28) will continue the work of the serum when used. The concealer helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles immediately as well as over time. It comes in six shades,and it’s quite a heavy concealer on first application, but it blends very well and is buildable.
The Foundation is an oil-free, liquid formula which leaves a radiant finish. It’s available in 12 shades, and also offers the long-term anti-ageing benefits. It leaves your skin feeling and looking smooth.
The Anti-aging Cleanser (£25) and Anti-aging Treatment Lotion (£25) are exclusive to Harrods, or Origins’ online store. The foaming cleanser washes away all impurities and makeup and feels lovely on the skin. The Treatment Lotion is, I guess, a modern toner, but with a milky texture.
You pat it onto your skin day and night with a cotton pad or fingertips, before applying your Plantscription serum. Using the Cleanser and Lotion together has been clinically proven to preserve the skin’s moisture barrier while also working to hydrate, smooth and boost radiance.
Lastly, there is a new Plantscription Anti-Aging Eye Cream (£35), which is a richer formulation than the original Eye Treatment (£35).
I prefer the new one already – it’s much more hydrating, and as well as containing the Angeissus Tree Bark to help with fine lines and wrinkles, it contains Kombucha (fermented Black Tea) which lifts and firms. It also contains magnolia and cucumber for helping with dark circles.
