Jump on the Benebus!!

1 min read

If you’re in Edinburgh during the Festival and Fringe this August, then why not jump on the Benebus for a makeover?! The Benebus (actually an old vintage ambulance, gutted painted pink and FULL of BeneFit goodies!), parked up at George Square in the city, is part of the beauty company’s hook-up with leading female comedy producer, Funny Women, for their 10th Anniversary celebrations at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Funny Women are resident at the Bosco-Assembly at George Square from August 2rd to 17th, with a mixture of showcases presenting the best of Funny Women alumni, Funny Women Awards semi-finals and last year’s winner Lara A King’s first soloshow. (I saw a wee bit of Lara at an event on Tuesday night, and she is very funny!). Comedians to come from Funny Women in the past include Sara Millican, and they’re supported by the wonderful Miranda Hart. This year’s Funny Women winner  will walk away with £500 of Benefit goodies, a development package with Funny Women,  and  the chance to work as Benefit brand ambassador for a year. How good is that?!

The Benebus is a mobile bespoke beauty salon, which will offer makeovers – or what BeneFit is calling make-uppers –  and all sorts of goodies – so get done up before all the laughing makes you cry – and see if the BeneFit makeup stays in place!
