Sometimes a beauty product just works. For Clinique in the last couple year it has to be their amazing Chubby Sticks. These simple little moisturizing lip balm crayons have captured the imagination of Clinique fans around the globe, and it as no surprise this year when an extra eight shades were added to the original shades. They deliver a sheer hint of moisturising colour, and as they just twist up, they require no sharpener. Genius.
Since their launch in 2011 they have remained hugely popular, and since June 1 2012, Clinique have sold on average five Chubby Sticks PER MINUTE in the UK and Ireland! The Number One Chubby Stick shade is Super Strawberry, having sold more than 1 million globally since its launch!
The best selling-shades differ around the world. In the USA, it’s Super Strawberry, and in Russia it’s Whole Lotta Honey. The Japanese love Mega Melon, whilst the UK and China & Korea count Wopping’ Watermelon as their favourites.
