J Lo's new glow!
Did you know that Jennifer Lopez has had 18 fragrances in the last 10 years?! She’s just launched number 18, called Glowing, which she describes as an ‘evolution’ of her first fragrance, Glow, which launched in 2002.
I still have a bottle of Glow – there’s the picture of it down below! It has a little piece of J Lo bling attached to it – I think it was a mobile phone charm! (They certainly didn’t evolve did they?!). Glowing has it’s own gimmick of course – the bottle lights up!
Of the fragrance itself, well, it’s kind of ‘meh’, you know, like many of these celebrity fragrances, but you have to admire old Jenny from the Block for still being around, still having it, and still producing the scents ten years on!
Essentially, Glowing is a floral woody amber that has notes of bergamot, mandarin and cypress along with sandalwood, vanilla and cashmere musk, amongst other notes.
Incidentally, I think only a few of her 18 fragrances are still available. Not surprising given the short shelf-life of many celebrity scents. Get it while it’s good!
