Sweet haircare from Label.M

1 min read

I have been trying out some new shampoo and conditioner recently, and I am always wary when I do this. I’m quite particular about what I wash my hair with. I’m very brand loyal (Paul Mitchell is king), but for the purposes of work I sometimes give other things a go.

I know that label.m is a good brand, so I wasn’t too concerned when I was given the Honey & Oat Shampoo and Conditioner to try. I expected they’d be pretty good, and as they  are for dry and dehydrated hair, I thought they’d be good for me, as mine needs a lot of TLC. Of course, my hair is coloured, and I didn’t take that into account.

My hair felt good after using them, the conditioner didn’t leave my hair any more dry and dehydrated than my regular one, but I have to say, if you dye your hair, beware. They did strip the colour quite badly, but I know this was my own fault. Label.m do have colour protecting ranges which I am sure would suit me better.

The smell is really lovely – totally different to any other shampoo I have used, very sweet thanks to the Manuka Honey, and I really loved using them. They are Sulphate and Sodium Chloride free and they are very lightweight to use , but still do a great job.

Label.m Honey & Oat Shampoo (£11.50) and Conditioner (£14.95) are available at Toni&Guy, essensuals and specially appointed label.m salons worldwide. Visit labelm.com for more info.
