Summer with Paul and Joe

I’m all about the summer collections at the moment. They’re so lovely to look at , and they make me feel warm, when the weather doesn’t!

So, this is the gorgeous Paul & Joe collection for summer, inspired by the magic of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream. This well-loved tale of star-crossed lovers and forest fairies is reflected in this beautiful collection – again, too gorgeous to use! From the ephemeral glow of the powders to the sparkle of the nail polishes, it will have you in a fantasy world! The packaging’s green hue has been inspired by Absinthe, the French drink that is responsible for many a fantasy!

The lovely Shimmering Pressed Powder (£22) is adorned with a beautiful butterfly design, and contains a trio of flattering shades to bring sun-kissed colour to you. There is a lovely Shimmering Body Lotion (£24) in a beautiful bottle, and three gorgeous shades of the Paul & Joe famous Face Color (£15). Choose from Nymph, Nubile or Faune – pink, peach and rose.  The floral design is beautiful, the product excellent.

There are three lovely Lip Gloss (£15) shades  – Love Potion, Fairie Kisses, and Dream A Little Dream – Fairie Kisses is a yellow gloss which appears translucent on lips with a gorgeous Apple & Vanilla flavour. The others are a perfect pink, and a col orange sherbert.

Finally, there are three gorgeous shades of Nail Enamel (£10.50) in what have to be the most beautiful nail polish bottles ever. I have kept any empties I have on my bottle shelf at home! Fairie Queen has glittery specks of pinks, purples and blues, Sprite is a watery shade of pastel green dotted with pink pearls, and Pixie is a striking silver with a holographic effect.
