Perfection with Estee Lauder

There’s a new Estee Lauder Perfectionist [CP+R] Wrinkle Lifting/Firming Serum out next month, and when I first read the press release, I was a bit baffled it has to be said, by the science. Upon further reading, it’s actually not that complicated. Basically, the CP+R stands for Correct, Prevent + Repair, and this is what it claims to be able to do to the  look of serious lines and wrinkles with exceptional speed.

It’s an advanced serum which contains innovative CPR-75 Technology, which Lauder says is ‘proven to supercharge skin’s natural energised look and line-fighting power’. Whether that’s true, I can’t say. I haven’t used the product yet.  Like with most anti-ageing products, it claims to make lines and wrinkles look instantly plumped.

The CPR-75 is a a dual-action, advanced amino acid and protein complex, and the serum also contains Artemia Extract, a zooplankton, obtained by marine biotechnology which helps to recharge the skin. Other advanced proteins and ingredients help to support the skin’s natural collagen. As with all serums, this is to be applied before moisturiser. You can use it day and night, and it smells beautiful – a light floral scent, with white jasmine, peony and rose petals.

Estee Lauder Perfectionist [CP+R] Wrinkle Lifting/Firming Serum, 30ml for £50, 50ml for £68, available from July from Estee Lauder counters and esteelauder.co.uk
