A Stila Summer...

Oh joy, the rain’s back! Just in time for the weekend! You’ll need to get your sunshine elsewhere this weekend, so how about with the beautiful new summer collection from Stila. I missed this brand when they disappeared for a while. Their products are lovely, good quality and innovative.

This sunny collection has a brilliant product at the heart of it, called One Step Illuminate (£24). It’s a serum which instantly illuminates, primes and nourishes the skin, and it  contains a swirl of three illuminating bronzers  – pale pink, champagne & hero Kitten. I love it.

There’s a waterproof mascara, Stay All Day Lash Mascara (£15), and now four different shades of best-seller All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer (£16). This product is brilliant, you can use it alone to just add a bit of highlight to wherever you want, or can add a drop to your foundation or moisturiser, for a fresh,radiant glow all over. It now comes in Bronze, Kitten, Pink and Rose Gold.

There are three Baked Setting Powders (£24) – Set & Illuminate has three brightening powders in it, to brighten on cheekbones, and under eyes. Set & Correct is three colour-correcting powders; green to neutralise redness and conceal blemishes, lavender to counteract sallow undertones and peach to brighten and illuminate. Set & Bronze is three bronzers – matte, Kitten, and shimmer, to give you that healthy, sun-kissed glow you are never going to get naturally this weekend.

There’s an innovative Custom Color Blush in Self-Adjusting Bronze (£13) which reacts to each individual’s pH to create a perfect, personalised shade with its unique one-shade-fits-all technology, and a gorgeous Passion Fruit Crush Lip & Cheek Stain (£16) – a perfect coal shade with just the right amount of shimmer for lips and cheeks.
