Free Dior Makeovers!
To celebrate the launch of the new Dior Addict Extreme range – a collection of 12 new lip colours and four corresponding nail shades, Dior are introducing ‘Pret-a-Party‘ (good name!), a tailor-made makeover for the Dior Addict Extreme woman.
In the adverts that woman is supermodel Kate Moss. I’m not sure Dior promise to turn us all into Kate Moss, but, seriously, this is a very good idea.
The Pret-a-Party service is available every week from Thursday through to Saturday, from 4pm until the store close.You can either pop in on the day, or you can book ahead at the counter for an upcoming occasion. And whether you’d like a full makeover for a big night out, or just a small addition to your current look – maybe a smokey eye or a colour-pop lip, Dior’s professional Beauty Experts are on hand to enhance your look!
The Dior Addict Extreme range, which launched this month, has 12 lovely lip shades, in a four-wax formula that is really light on the lips. I’m wearing bold red Bellissima (what else?!) as I type, and it feels and looks beautiful.
The four ‘It’ shades – and the shades the nails come in – are Lucky, Incognito, Plaza and Riviera, a pink, nude, mauve and coral respectively. Kate Moss is wearing Lucky in the advert above – it’s a bold, dazzling pink.
Lucky was one of Christian Dior’s favourite models – she was a true icon of 1950s fashion shows. Her good-luck name won over the couturier, who liked to stitch ‘lucky’ sprigs of Lily of the Valley, his favourite flower, in the hems of the pieces presented in his fashion shows!
