April Showers!
Summer was March it seems, and now it’s April Showers time! But I prefer getting into the hot shower in my bathroom, rather than getting caught in the rain outside, don’t you?!
So, here are three fab shower gels I’ve been using recently – at three different price points – so, it’s Three of the Best!
1. Soap & Glory Foam Call Bath and Shower Body Wash, £6.50, boots.com – big 200ml bottle of a really gorgeous-smelling, thick and creamy shower gel. The fragrance is called the Fruitigo Fragrance – with notes of frozen yuzu (?), orange oil, green fig and jungle pomelo essence.
It contains peppermint essential oils as well. It’s impossible to describe the smell – it’s a sweet, almost sickly scent, but it’s really addictive and showering in this makes you feel super-clean!
2. Marks and Spencer Natures Extracts Creamy Coconut Shower Gel, £2, marksandspencer.com – is a little disappointing if the truth be told. It’s just not got enough fragrance for my liking. However it is nice to use, clean and makes you feel like you have had a good wash!
3. Clarins Eau des Jardins Uplifting Shower Gel, £18, clarins.co.uk – this is amazing shower gel. But it just seemed to disappear! Beautiful, fresh, floral fragrance, really is uplifting in the morning, although £18 is pretty steep for a shower gel. You’d have to limit yourself, or perhaps buy it as a treat for a holiday or something?
