Ever Matte Foundation and Powder from Clarins

I love Clarins. They’re a strong, dependable brand, with good products, beautiful treatments, and consistently great new launches that suit their customers, and aren’t just trend-led or gimmicky.

I use their Hydraquench moisturising range, love their mascaras and eyeshadows and their body products rock. I’ve yet to find my favourite foundation from their range, but if you have oily or combination skin then this might be it for you.

The new Ever Matte Foundation SPF15 is a liquid product, oil-free, containing a brand new cocktail of minerals and plant exracts to give you all day protection against unwanted shine. Clarins’ exclusive plant based ‘Skin Detox‘ complex, contains Tanaka Powder, which acts like a sponge and continuously absorbs excess sebum for a a matte finish.

It also provides just the right amount of hydration thanks to a plant based micro-patch. it has a light-optimising pigment complex to capture, magnify and diffuse light so that skin appears smoother and more radiant.

There is also a matching powder, Ever Matte Mineral Powder Compact which can be reapplied throughout the day without build-up to keep your skin looking fresh and flawless. The foundation comes in 10 shades, and the powder in four shades of ‘Transparent’ for varying skin tones.
