Youthtopia - find it at Origins!
A new year means another year older, and, whisper it, now that I am in my 40s, I’m paying extra, extra attention to my skincare regime, and adding in different anti-ageing products.
I’ve been trying Origins latest, Youthtopia for the last three months or so, and I have to say I love it. Because my skin can be a bit dry at times, I need a cream that offers me good hydration as well as anything else.
Youthtopia comes in two formats – Youthtopia Lift Firming Cream, and Youthopia Lift Ultra-Rich Firming Cream. Clever, huh?! Perfect for different skin types. I’ve been trialling the latter, and the results have impressed me. My skin feels firm, and the cream is very hydrating.
There are three main key ingredients in Youthtopia – Commiphora Mukul, which is extracted from the root of a tree indigenous to India and is commonly called ‘guggul’. It’s been used in Ayurvedic medicine for over 3000 years. It helps volumise the skin’s appearance. Sweet Almond Extract helps with skin firming, and Menyanthes trifoliata (Buckean Extract) and Siegesbeckia help maintain natural collagen levels and encourage a firmed and lifted appearance.
It also contains Essential oils of Geranium, Cardamom Seed, Sweet Orange, Thyme and Sandalwood. It smells heavenly and is a real treat for your skin!
