Tom Ford for Nails...at a price!
Not content with launching a new makeup collection this year, Tom Ford has now launched a wardrobe of sixteen shades of Nail Lacquer (that’s nail polish or varnish to you and me!)
The collection went on sale last week at Tom Ford Beauty Counters (in Harvey Nichols, Edinburgh, and Fraser’s, Glasgow in Scotland) and this is the most expensive nail polish I think I will ever use. How much? £25 a bottle, that’s how much!
They are, as you can imagine, gorgeous polishes, and Tom himself believes nails add that finishing touch.
“In beauty, fine details have the greatest impact,” he says. “Perfectly lacquered nails complete your look, whether you have one signature look or you love to transform yourself with colour.”
You can certainly do that with Tom’s nail collection – there are 16 fantastic shades, across the whole colour spectrum, from nudes like Naked and Mink Brulee, to bold Scarlet Chinois (pictured), Ginger Fire and African Violet (pictured), and then on to deep, dark shades like Bitter Bitch and Viper. The names are sensual and fun as well.
The polish goes on easily, and it really does last for about a week without chipping. And at £25 a bottle, I would expect that, wouldn’t you?
