MAC new collections for the New Year!
M.A.C love new collections don’t they?! Every few months they seem to launch another one. And in January, they release two more – one from socialite Daphne Guinness and another from the amazing Iris Apfel.
First up, the fabulous collection from Iris. I absolutely adore this, and the woman behind it. Could there be anyone more cool on this planet than this 90 year old? And yes, that’s NINETY!
Her style has already inspired many, she’s a former interior designer, and she still lectures on fashion now. She’s been the subject of her own exhibit at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The collection for M.A.C is stunning. Full of bold, bright lipsticks, attention grabbing nail polish and and gorgeous hues of eye-shadow. My absolute favourite is the Lipstick in Party Parrot – a bright, matte, red-pink. The collection contains Lipsticks (£13.50), Lip Pencil (£10.50), Eye Shadow (£11.50), Nail Lacquer (£11.50) and more.
The second new collection is from fashionista and socialite Daphne Guinness and a complete contrast to Iris’s. It’s full of purples, berries, pinks and silvers – and is every bit as beautiful in a different way! It’s fierce and feminine.
There are three fantastic Pigments (£15.50) in Aurora – a pink taupe, Circa Plum – a frosty mid-tone lavender, and Nebula – a dark greyed brown with pearl, and four luscious Cremesheen Glass (£16) shades, from pale grey pink to deep brown plum.
