Estee Lauder Eyes

Forget the sales, if you are hitting the shops on Boxing Day, the head straight for the Estee Lauder counter to see their new Pure Color Cyber Eyes collection which goes on sale on December 26th.

Consisting of Limited Edition Pure Color Gelée Powder EyeShadows (£19) in six metallic shades, six shades of Pure Color Intense Kajal EyeLiner (£16) and three shades of Limited Edition Sumptuous Extreme Mascara (£22), this is a gorgeous mini-collection perfect for your New Year party eyes!

The shadows are right in pigment, and have a futuristic, hyper-metallic finish – and come in Cyber Copper, Pink, Lilac, Silver, Green and Teal. They include a first-to market, ‘tribrid’ system that changes the way makeup can be worn, wet or dry, for an application and wear that revolutionises the current eyeshadow category. Basically, it’s sort of an all-in-one liquid,powder and gel that creates a really bouncy texture, that’s easy to work with. They give a great sheen finish, and are more metallic when applied wet.

The eyeliner pencils have 70 per cent pure pigments and come in Blackened Black, Cocoa, Plum, Sapphire and Olive, and Electric Teal. They’re inspired by ancient Indian Kajal and are really soft – you can use them on the inner rim of the eye as well. Blackened Olive and Electric Teal are limited, but the rest will stay.

And finally, fabulous coloured mascara! Give it a go! Extreme Teal is a beautiful bluey shade. The others are Extreme Violet and Copper. The actual Sumptuous Extreme mascara, with it’s brilliantly shaped brush, is one of my favourites on the market.
