Marcel Wanders for M&S

There’s a new beauty range in M&S – designed and created by Marcel Wanders. Who is he? Well, he’s a Dutch designer who specialises in product and interior design, and Marks and Spencer are collaborating with him across a wide range of products in the store, frm home to fashion to beauty.

HIs makeup collection is gorgeous – perfect Christmas stocking fillers, in lovely gold and black compacts that will brighten up any clutch bag on a night out. And – the makeup quality is good. The Lipsticks are really matte and creamy, and pigment rich, giving long lasting colour. They come in three shades – Vamp ( a bold red), Jewel (a bright pink) and Damask (a rich nude), and are £9.50 each.

The collection has three Eyeshadow Duos that are wearable, again pigment rich, and again in the black and gold packaging, with mirrors in the compacts. The duos come in Storm (a deep blue, and pale blue/grey with shimmer, pictured), Moondust (a deep berry and lilac duo) and Sandblast (a neutral nude/brown palette). The Eyeshadow Duos are £7.00 each. There are two Powder Blushers in Sunblush and Valentine – a bronze/peach and pink respectively,  which are £9.50 each, and a gorgeous embossed Pressed Powder in Light or Medium/Dark (£9.50).

And then, there are two great multi-use palettes, the Face Palette Lip and Eye Collection, which are perfect for a Christmas gift. The palette comes in two colourways. Safari is a more daytime, browns, nudes and neutral tones, and Verdigris is a bolder, bright, more nighttime, party look with greens, pinks and jewel shades. They are £12 each and contain six eyeshadows and three lip colours.
