Clinique's Holiday Collection

It’s all about the eyes at Clinique this ‘Holiday’ – that’s the Americanisation of Christmas in case you wondered! When I attended the Lauder Companies Christmas Press Day last month I was really impressed with the new Lid Smoothie Antioxidant 8-Hour Eye Colour (£17), from Clinique. (I wasn’t so impressed with the name!).

They’re cream eye colours, really soft and smooth to the touch, and once applied, they really don’t move. Cream eyeshadow has come a LONG way! They also have a unique ‘cooling’ action, so they help the delicate eye area whilst on. The colours are lovely – four in the ‘Holiday Collection’ and 12 in total. My favourite is the Salt and Pepper, a sort of sparkly charcoal.

The Quickliner For Eyes Intense (£13.50) eyeliner pencil is brilliant. Just 60 seconds after application – during which time you can move it about to your hearts content – it sets.

And it really doesn’t budge. It comes in four shades – Intense Plum, Intense Midnight and Frosted Chocolate and Frosted Charcoal.

And then there’s the Limited Edition High Impact Mascara  in Brightening Black (£15). Get to the Clinique counter NOW and get this. It’s an amazing shade – it really does pop your eyes open. I’m a big fan of all Clinique mascaras, so it’s no surprise that I love this one!
