YSL Creative Director in Glasgow!
Lloyd Simmonds, Yves Saint Laurent’s Creative Director, pictured left, will be in Frasers Glasgow on Friday 4th November for a personal appearance. When I think of glamorous, decadent beauty brands, YSL is always up there. Where would many of us be without Touche Eclat, after all?
But the brand is about so much more than that under-eye illuminator/concealer – which now comes in seven shades for all skin tones. The latest ‘musthave’ product is the new Rouge Pur Couture Golden Lustre lipsticks (£22.50) where Lloyd has reinterpreted the iconic gold of Yves Saint Laurent through the collection of lip colors subtly infused with yellow, white and pink gold pearls.
They really are lovely – and what a surprise that my favourite is the red, 111 Rouge Helios! There are 11 other gorgoeus shades, from deep berry colours to subtle pinks and nudes.
What better way to try them and the rest of YSL’s Holiday 2011 collection, than by the man himself? Lloyd and the YSL Colour Stylist Team will be holding 45 minute sessions throughout the day. Booking a session costs £25, which is redeemable against purchase on the day, and you will also get a luxury goody bag, and some champagne whilst you are transformed! And, you get to ask Lloyd all sorts of questions about his fabulous job!
