When I was about 16 I used to tan my legs with Duo-Tan (remember that?!). Of course I didn’t tan the rest of me, and well, you can imagine! So, when I first saw the new St Tropez Perfect Legs Spray (£10) I was a little scared.
If I want a spray tan these days, I’ll come on 5pm Health and Beauty and check out all the deals and let someone else do it. I’ve tried every fake tan known to man over the years, before and during my time as a beauty editor. And most of them have beaten me.
But I have to say, this was a nice surprise. The nozzle means you can spray from any angle, it gives you an instant bronze look AND develops like a tan – how clever is that?
It delivered a fine mist on spraying, and then you just had to use a mitt – and you must use a mitt – to blend it in, and glaze it lightly over your feet. I may have rekindled my love of fake tan with this one!
