It's all a bit of a Nanoblur!

Apparently, one tube of Nanoblur is being sold every 10 seconds in the UK at Boots, the exclusive stockist. Continuing my skincare theme this week, I’ve been reviewing this latest beauty musthave. The box states you can ‘look up to 10 years younger in 40 seconds’ using Nanoblur. With a claim like that, surely it’s setting itself up for a fall?

This product was originally formulated to tackle concerns created by HD cameras which would highlight the slightest of imperfections on Hollywood movie stars. It uses ‘optical prism technology’ to ‘blur’ any lines and flaws on the skin. It claims to blur lines, wrinkles, pores, crow’s feet and sagginess. You apply it on top of liquid makeup and under powder makeup, or on bare skin. Apparently a lot of men are using it.

If your skin is a bit on the dry side, blend it with some moisturiser. You can use it anywhere on the body, not just the face. But does it actually work?

Well, all I can say is, I am hugely underwhelmed. I applied it on top of liquid makeup, and I do think I probably should have mixed it with moisturiser, that was my mistake. But, although my skin looked and felt smooth, almost waxy, I really was staring into the mirror trying to see if the fine lines near my eyes were ‘blurred’. The answer? No. I honestly hate to rain on any product’s parade, but I just couldn’t see any difference at all! It has huge claims, but I fear it fails to deliver.
