Defy Age like Elle, with Revlon!

1 min read

Yes, it’s another ‘foundation with benefits’ – this time from Revlon. Aussie Supermodel and Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model host Elle McPherson is the face of this new launch. I’m not a fan of Elle. Yes, she looks great for her age (she’s 47), but I don’t like her on Top Model. She whispers, and there’s something kinda, well, fake about her.

Anyway, she’s a pretty perfect choice to front the ad campaign of  Revlon Age Defying with DNA Advantage Cream Makeup (£13.99, boots.com)

It tackles dehdyration, a primary cause of ageing, with its moisturising formula, with Vitamin B3, Vitamin E and West Indian Cherry Extract. It also has built-in SPF 20 to protect skin from harmful UV rays.

It comes in eight shades, and when you apply it, you will notice the luminosity which is key in any anti-ageing colour product. It’s nice. I wouldn’t go overboard and say it was ground-breaking, but I like the texture, it’s not drying, and it is buildable, from a sheer covering, to a fuller coverage if you want that.

Of course, if you really want to defy ageing (well, as much as we can!), it’ll take a lot more than a foundation. Look after your skin and indulge it with treatments – there are plenty on 5pm.co.uk Health and Beauty at brilliant prices!
