Anti-Ageing Bodycare? Yes please!

Ah, those brilliant people at Elemis, always coming up with lovely new products! The latest is Pro-Collagen Body Cream – billed as ‘the ultimate winter wonder cream’, and the latest addition to their body anti-ageing range.

Many women make the mistake of neglecting their body and putting all their efforts into their facial skincare, but Elemis Director of Product and Treatment Development Noella Gabriel can’t stress the importance of looking after your body – particularly in winter.

“Bodycare is equally as important as facial skincare,” says Noella. “More women are realising this as the demand to look and feel younger increases.

So, as well as being a lush product to lavish on your skin, this new body cream as been specially formulated with a trio of exotic oils Babassu, Castanha and Bilberry Seed Oil with marine algae Padina Pavonica and Laminaria Brown Seaweed. It smells gorgeous, and fresh, and it claims to have a sort of ‘body stocking’ effect on the skin. It aims to deeply hydrate, nourish and visibly tone.

I’ve not been using it long enough to tell if all of these claims are true, but I firmly believe in using a firming cream on areas that worry you. I’m sceptical about anything that claims to get rid of cellulite, because mostly these claims are unfounded, but certain products will give a firming effect, and anything that hydrates at the same time at this time of year wins for me!

This cream feels lovely and rich to apply, with no greasiness.
