Wild as a Bluebell

Jo Malone launch another new fragrance next month, but this time it’s the first fragrance ever to have a story created for it. Meet Wild Bluebell. She’s terribly English and naughty but nice. And no, we are not talking about Geri Haliwell’s daughter, okay?!

Fresh bluebell and clove form the top notes of this light floral fragrance, with lily of the valley, eglantine and jasmine at the heart, and white muck and amber at the base.

I’m not sure if I’m in love with this as much as some of my other Jo Malone favourites. (These days I can’t see past the last launch, English Pear and Freesia), but I do adore the campaign imagery that goes with the launch. How lovely are the white bunnies?!

Wild Bluebell heralds another first for Jo Malone as well – the launch of the ancillaries at the same time as the fragrance. So, the full collection comprises of the Wild Bluebell Cologne in 30ml and 100ml sizes (£36 and £72 respectively), Body & Hand Wash (£30), Body Crème (£48) and Home Candle (£38).

The Wild Bluebell Collection will be available from September in Jo Malone stores and online

To help Britain stay carpeted with bluebells, Jo Malone London has made a donation to the Woodland Trust. They obviously haven’t used any actual bluebells in creating their fragrance either.
