Katy Perry's MTV Golden Glow...

Did you see the MTV awards? Yes, okay, the big news was Beyonce’s bizarre belly-rub announcement of her pregnancy, and let’s not even go there with Lady Gaga and her bizarre male alter-ego.

But I only had eyes for my girl-crush, Katy Perry. I just love her, and all her madness. Did you see the cool yellow cube hat she was wearing?! We blogged about her pink hair the other week, and today I’m going to give you details on how to perfect her gorgeous golden glow! You lucky people!

Celebrity make-up artist Jake Bailey told us how he achieved  Katy’s red carpet-worthy, sun-kissed skin at the MTV Awards using St Tropez. Taking home the award for Video of the Year, for Firework, Katy looked hot enough to melt any popsicle with her bespoke St.Tropez tan.

“I used the St. Tropez Gold Skin Illuminator which I love. Katy just returned from a small vacation so she had a little bit of colour so I wanted to make the most of it,” explained Jake Bailey.  “I knew it would complement her tan and really give her a nice glow which I applied all over the body including her arms and legs.

“After her make-up was complete, I applied the St. Tropez Bronzing Rocks all over her face very lightly with a large powder brush to give her a nice bronze finish.”
