Next Top Model Bore

2 min read

Did you tune into Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model last night on Sky Living? Were you as bored as I was? Why, oh why have they changed this format into a bad copy of the X Factor? Do we really need to see the audition stages? I’ll probably not tune in again until three weeks time when the competition starts for real.

I had a few other questions about last night as well – why were the auditionees in Glasgow made to parade in their underwear or swimwear when the London gals got to do it fully clothed? Answers in an email please…

And who thinks Elle Macpherson, gorgeous as she is, looked just a wee bit ridiculous in her crow get-ups?!

And does anyone care what the judges – Grace Woodward, Julien Macdonald and Charley Speed –  had for their lunch?! No! Er, word in your shell-like Elle, executive producer – we want the model bitching, tantrums and tears, not you lot, OK?!

So, back to the models, and the winner of this year’s competition wins lots of prizes (including bizarrely, a holiday for two at Sandals – someone please explain that one to me) – and one of those is getting to be the face of a Revlon campaign.

I love Revlon – they’re an affordable beauty brand, and their products rock. I’m not big on their bases, but their colour range is brilliant – the lipsticks and nail polish are a staple in my makeup bag, and I’ve just been introduced to their new Eyeliner Pencils, in four shades – Black, Earth brown, Aubergine, and Aquamarine – and they’re just £4.29 each.

I’m never sure about coloured eyeliner pencils, but this Aquamarine is lovely and I experimented with it inside the lower rim of my eye, and it looked fabulous!
