Tennis tone-up - Wimbledon is on its way!

1 min read

So, Andy Murray triumphed at Queen’s yesterday and now the pressure is on! The hopes of a nation rest on his shoulders -will he be the first British winner of the men’s title at Wimbledon since Fred Perry in 1936?

Well, we hope he gets in plenty of practice and plenty of massages and rubs before he beings his quest next week, when the tournament starts on June 20.

I wonder what products he likes? I found two gorgeous muscle rub/cool down products recently. First up is the Ole Henriksen Muscle Comfort Lotion (£31) from Harvey Nichols which moisturises, cools and relieves muscle fatigue. You use it twice a day, massaging it into the feet, and the calves, towards the heart. Women can use this too – it’s a unisex product.

Or you could try Nickel’s Body Cooler Muscle Rub (£20), from the NickelSpaLondon.co.uk – an ultra-fresh gel formula to use after sport. Both are great Father’s Day gifts as well, if your dad’s an active kinda guy!

Or, alternatively you could really treat him and book him into Awakening Senses, in Glasgow, who have a great 5pm Health and Beauty Father’s Day Special Deal on just now for a Back, Neck and Shoulder massage for just £17.
