Teeth Whitened? Red Lipstick on!

You don’t end up with a Simon Cowell-style blinging white smile, so don’t worry. The effect is much more subtle, but it’s clear to see, and it made wearing my favourite lipstick colour – red, all the more pleasant!

So, when your teeth are gleaming white, I’d suggest breaking out the red lippy for a Hollywood bombshell look! My two absolute favourite red lipsticks of the moment are quite different, in price and shade and texture. Illamasqua’s Sangers (£15.50) is a wonderful matte red with blueish undertones – what I love most about this lipstick is the lack of any hint of gloss factor – and if you want to gloss it up, you can add a clear one on top.

My other favourite red has been a staple in my makeup bag for years – Barry M’s Lipstick in 121 (£4.49). This lipstick is a brilliant, bold shade with orangey undertones. I adore it,and always fall back on it, especially in summer with a hint of a tan.
