Estee Lauder's Orange Crush

If you are loving the colour blocking trend on the catwalks this season in fashion, then you are going to be rushing to Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh to get your hands on the Limited Edition Estee Lauder Pure Color Orange Crush Collection, which goes on counter at the store (and branches in Leeds, London and Manchester) tomorrow.

For Derek Lam’s Spring 2011 runway show, Estée Lauder Creative Makeup Director, Tom Pecheux, created a bold, architectural makeup look to complement the 1960’s California-inspired collection.

Strong orange eyes were the focus of the look, with a vibrant, structured orange line drawn straight across the top lash line and finished with a triangle of white in the inner-corner. See the look on model, Liu Wen, pictured.

To bring the trend from the runway to real life, Pecheux worked with Estée Lauder to create a collection of three electric products – and Orange Crush was the result.

The exclusive, limited edition collection of products includes two Pure Color eyeshadows to recreate the runway original look and a Pure Color Gloss in a brilliant orange shade for those who want to also wear the trend on the lips. Each product is £16.

It’s only available in these Harvey Nichols stores, from June 17, and for a limited time, so if you fancy a colour pop, you know where to go!
