Embrace your curls like Beyonce!

Wow! How amazing was Beyonce at Glastonbury last night? And how utterly fabulous was her massive mop of curls?! All of my life I have fought my naturally curly hair. With straightening products, irons, an actual iron back in the day, plaits overnight to take the curl out – you name it, I’ve tried it.

But in the last few years, I’ve  embraced the curls and the waves, just like Beyonce. Will you?!

For the last month I have been trying out Trevor Sorbie’s ‘Beautiful Curls’ range. If you want to embrace your curly hair a la Beyonce, I’d suggest you do the same. The range has everything, from shampoos and conditioners, to styling products.

I enjoyed using the Curl Cream, which is specially formulated for naturally curly hair, and enhances them – you apply it to damp hair after washing. This Curl Cream had been discontinued, but was brought back this month to be a permanent part of the new Beautiful Curls range. And I am delighted!

The Curl Constructor is designed for use on straight hair – pop this on, before you heat-style your curls in with irons or tongs to protect your hair. The Replenishing Mask does what it says on the tube – helps to replenish and moisturise your hair. We want curls, not frizz!

Finally, the Beach Hair is one of my favourite products of all.My hair always looks best on holiday, when it dries in the sun after a swim in the sea. You can recreate that fabulous, tousled curly/wavy look with this spray.
