Cheryl's new blonde do - how she did it

1 min read

We’ve been doing a bit of digging, and we’ve found out how Cheryl Cole achieved her new blonde do, that we blogged about earlier, so, this is an extra wee post should you want to know the finer details of Ms Cole’s hairdo!

Firstly, it’s not blonde, okay? It’s ‘Smokey Quartz’. The good news is you can achieve it at home with  L’Oréal Paris Casting Crème Gloss 8304. Cheryl celebrates her birthday tomorrow (she’s 28), and who doesn’t like a new hairdo for her birthday?

Of course Cheryl didn’t do it herself, don’t be silly. No, she got L’Oréal Paris styling and colour experts, Lisa Laudat and Amie Wilson to  transform her long brunette locks into a ‘smokey quartz’ asymmetric bob.

“This look is the smokey eyes of hair, it’s the perfect dark blonde infused with sparkles,” says Amie Wilson. “It’s fab for summer!”

To recreate Cheryl’s ‘Smokey quartz’ glossy colour with visible, shimmering tones at home, blondes can use Casting Crème Gloss in shade 8304.

If you’ve previously dyed your hair or have a dark base (like Cheryl) you must pre-lighten with L’Oréal Paris Perfect Blonde then apply Casting Crème Gloss 8304.

The colour result will differ slightly on everyone.  L’Oréal Paris offers expert advice to all home colourers who can simply call 0800 0304 031 to get tailor-made step by step help to achieving their perfect shade.
And don’t forget to patch trest 48 hours before you use the dye –  you can get more info at www.becoloursafe.com or www.Loreal-paris.co.uk.

Available nationwide, at Boots stores, amongst others, for £6.12
