Anyone for Tennis?
Did you know that defending Wimbledon Ladies’ Champion, Serena Williams, is a qualified nail technician? Well, you do now!
The four times Wimbledon champion, who begins her defence of her title tomorrow, despite hardly playing since she won last year thanks to various injuries, is well known for her love of fashion and makeup.
And, as a qualified nail technician it’s no surprise to hear she’s brought out a range of nail polishes with OPI, appropriately titled, Glam Slam. There are four sets to collect in total – each one a doubles set, with a polish and a shatter or sparkle top coat.
The Wimbledon sets (pictured above) both include a gorgeous mixed-glitter shade, called Servin’ Up Sparkle, and you can choose from Grape…Set…Match – a lovely deep purple, or Your Royal Shine-ness – a solid opaque silver.
The French Open sets (pictured left) are bold gold and white, and pink and red – with brilliant names – Spark de Triomphe (paired with White Shatter) and Rally Pretty Pink (paired with Red Shatter).
We wonder what the Australian Open sets will be called? We will have our eyes fixed on Serena’s hands tomorrow to see what combination she’s wearing!
