Waiting to flutter those lashes!
Waiting lists are usually for sought-after clothes, the latest designer handbag, or maybe even the latest Chanel nail varnish shade (crazy but true!). But THE waiting list to be on just now is the one at Boots. Yes, that’s Boots the Chemist, and it’s for a mascara. Sound ridiculous? Well, apparently not. Australian cosmetic company Model Co have stirred up a frenzy about their Fibre Lash Brush on False Lashes. Dannii Minogue is the celebrity endorsement and it seems the product itself is, well, something else!
You can pre-order it at Boots – and quite a few of you have already been doing that. This mascara has had the biggest first day of pre-order of any product on Boots.com ever; it was the best-selling product, in value, on the site on Wednesday this week, and was the most viewed – 2680 of you had a wee look!
It goes on sale on June 15th, and they better make sure they have plenty of stock in. But what is all the fuss about?
Well, it’s a three-step lash extender. You apply the Extension mascara first, then a coat of the Lash fibres, which attach to your own lashes like lash extensions, and then you apply another coat of the Extension mascara. 
I can’t say one way or another whether it lives up to all this hype, because press samples have been thin on the ground too. But when I do get my hands on it, I’ll report back. If anyone has tried it, leave a comment!
