The Eyes Have It

1 min read

I think lipstick is my favourite beauty product ever, but every now and then there’s nothing more satisfying than creating a gorgeous eye. So, I’ve been delighted to try the latest Estee Lauder Double-Wear eye makeup products to do just that. Already hugely popular, with shadows and eye pencils in the range, they’ve now added a new Double Wear Stay-in-Place Gel Eyeliner (£15.50) which comes in a little pot with a petite little brush for application.

The brush is a bit finicky, so maybe best to invest in a long-handled eyeliner brush as well. The liner colours are gorgeous – Stay Onyx, Stay Coffee and Stay Midnight will be continuous, and Stay Bronze, and Stay Violet are Limited Edition.

Also added from this week are NINE new shades of Double Wear Wear Stay-in-Place Shadow Crèmes (£15.50) – there are five new continuous shades – Golden Sands, Pink Pearl, Mochachino, Smokey Plum and Midnight Kohl, and four new Limted Edition shades  –  Gold Dust, Buttercream, Café Au Lait and Smokey Twilight.

Of course, the big thing with this Lauder range is staying power – they claim the liners and shadows have 15 hours of it. What has been your experience? I have to say that they do last quite a long time without much creasing for cream-based eyeshadows, but I don’t think I’ve worn any of them for 15 hours yet!
